This one came into existence due to the need of the hour. Quick snack or side dish for guests that takes no time to make. Only a few ingredients and a delicious snack is ready. Like I said, it was the need of the hour type of thing so I don't have a beautiful picture but I can assure you the taste is good.
Ingredients:
Mushrooms- as many as you like
Paneer/ cottage cheese- according to the quantity of mushrooms
Mint leaves- A few
Green Chillies
Salt
Chaat masala
Oil for cooking
Process:
Wash the mushrooms well and take of their stem and keep aside. In a separate dish mash paneer, add chopped mint leaves, green chilly, salt and chaat masala. Mix well and fill in this mixture in the cavities of the mushrooms
Now in a non-stick pan just add a few drops of oil and keep the mushroom buttons face down. Cook for a few seconds and turn around. Mushrooms cook really fast so don't over cook. Also cook on high flame so that mushrooms don't leave their water.
Serve with Chatni or sauce.
In case there are left overs, which I had, reheat them in an oven before serving. You can also sprinkle some cheese on it before putting them in the oven.
